Level kit install shortcut question?

To those of you who have DIY 2 or 2.5" AS.
Would it be possible to shortcut this install by using a strut compressor? Instead of taking the wheel assembly apart could you just take the tire off, undo the top strut fasteners and use a strut compressor to bring th top of the spring down. Slip the AS lift in BAMB yer done ?
Just a thought let me know what you guys think. I just bought the AS kit and will be installing it soon....

The AS are cake to install and I really think you'd be causing a bigger headache by trying to use compressors when you're only a couple bolts away from doing it the right way.

That would NOT be my recommendation. Probably impossible actually.

You would just be compressing the spring and the strut tower would stay it's normal height.

Come on, it's an easy 1.5 hour DIY install and it's easy. Just follow the directions, shortcuts are not worth it.

Some *calculated* short cuts are worth their wieght in gold....never hurts to think a little different.
This post isn't about being lazy or difficulty of install. Just looking for a different way to get from point A to point B.
I appreciate all the input.
