Auto Spring?

Everyone with the 2.5" auto spring lift kits, I was wondering about the rear did you guys also go with the auto spring lift blocks or add-a-leaf from another brand?

I have the 2.5" kit on mine and I did nothing to the rear. After installation my truck looks to sit perfectly level so I didn't see the need to add anything to the rear.

I don't have the A.S. brand but after installing a 2" kit, I installed a 1 1/2" ProComp add-a-leaf out back. I use my truck for work, hauling an enclosed trailer, my boat and various loads - as well as having a bedslide in the back that adds weight.

I hadn't noticed that A.S. was selling a lift block for the rear till a few days ago. I don't know if that many people know about them yet.

I played it safe and went with the 2" as. I measured my truck and it is 9-1/4" from the top of the tire to the fender on the front and back wheels. I like the angle better and my front seats seem more comfortable. I know all trucks are different, but I didn't want to lift the rear any more than it already is. Highvoltagefx4, in that picture your front looks higher than the back, not level

After installing a 2" AS leveling kit, about how much weight can be put into the bed of the truck before it starts sagging to the point that is noticeably lower than the front. I'm guessing the most weight i can foresee putting in is a large quad.

How much does the large quad make the back drop now?

well, to be honest, i'm really not sure. Just recently got the truck and haven't had the opportunity to put it in the bed yet. But i'm guessing i'll answer my question w/ how much it lowers it w/out a level kit. If it sags it 2", then it'll be lower than the front by 2" after the level kit. Anyone w/ any pics of a truck w/ a 2" kit and weight in the bed?

ccm offroad on ebay

are they the same as the autospring? after reading threads on here... seems like the two different styles are "on top of the coils" (do-it yourself friendly) or "need to compress the coils" and the ccm ones on ebay don't say which. just that they are the offset type. anyways. i haven't checked out the local parts dealer here. so no idea what a good deal is.

The ride is about the same, maybe just a hair bit stiffer.

It wouldn't take too much weight to see the sag, 150-200lbs if not less. With the length of our trucks, a slight sag will result in your headlight shining up; after a ride a night with a slight sag, you'll have other drivers telling you they can notice the difference.

I have a bedslide in the back of mine that adds weight, so w/ the add-a-leaf the truck sits pretty nice.

the ccm ones go on top of the coil, very easy to do. last night me and my buddy put the spacers in up front and the blocks in the rear in abot 2.5-3 hours. i was VERY happy with the high quality of the ccm spacers, and the AS block lift for the rear was very easy and clean install, very very happy with both, truck looks incredible, should have done this when i got the truck. now for tires and i will be good to go.
