I have two questions and was wondering could anyone help me out. 1. Why do some of the King Ranches and FX4's newer than 04' seem to be stock w/ leveling kits. Just wondering b/c I have an 04' Lariat 4x4 and noticed that almost all the 4x4 trucks that I see at the dealer and on the road all seem to be higher than mine. 2. Is $350 worth letting a local shop to supply and put on a 2.5" leveling kit cuz I saw ebay selling the AS kits for around 125 to 175. I am no mechanic but I have done some work, is it worth screwing up my truck is is just that easy?

 

A lot of dealerships are selling trucks with leveling kits. Most go for around $100. Whether to do it yourself or not depends on your mechanical skills.
