Help Diagnose!!!

I have a 97F150 4x4. There is a knocking coming from the front driver side wheel well after i go over hard bumps (potholes etc.). You would normally hear and feel the knock when running over something, but this seems to knock a few times afterward, like something is loose.
I have since had the shocks replaced . . . nothing. Had the upper and lower ball joints replaced . . . nothing.

Any ideas???

Thanks

I don't know. The ball joints were my first guess.

The Spring bracket that hold the top of the spring to the truck on mine, well, snapped and when I would go over bumps, it would crink. Check the top of your springs in the front for any breaks.

He has a 4x4, so it won't have springs, just a shock. Great forum by the way.

could some of your plastic covering in the wheel well be loose. maybe because you had to move some to get to the shock. and when you go over bumps its flopping around hitting your cab.
