Sway bar end link question

While replacing my shocks I noticed that my front passenger side swaybar end link was busted. I searched the forums and found that it is a cheap and easy fix. I looked at Summit for replacements and all that seems to work are Moog brand, they say the bushings are "thermoplastic". I was looking for polyurethane (like "prothane" or "enrgy suspension").

My question is: will I notice a difference between the two? The price diff. seems to be negligable. The truck is an '01 f150 Scab, 4x4.

I also tried Jeg's with no luck.

TIA...

Quite common. Both mine have broken in 197K. I just go to Napa, and buy theirs. $18 ea? I think.

Autozone has them for like $19 each with red urethane(ish) bushings. Looks much better than the stock POS links IMHO.

Urethane bushing will last longer than rubber. Moog makes quality replacement suspension/steering parts.
Thermoplastic is supposed to be harder then urethane and therefore, last longer. I doubt you will be able to tell the difference. Who knows if they really last longer.
Whatever you choose, you should get another 6 years out of them no problem.

Thanks guys. I went to Advance Auto and got TRW brand, lifetime warranty, red urethane bushings for $10 per side. I figure I might as well do both and get it over with...

Now I'm wondering: Should I do the sway bar bushings at the same time???
