gap guards, which side did you use???

gap guards, which side did you use???
simple question, which side of the gap guard did you use or are you supposed to use? the reflective side? or more of the dull side? iam using the reflective side and iam having second thoughts of changing it around.

i used the dull side, and i painted my wheel wells and the gap gaurds so every thing was flat black

I also used the dull side. It matches the wheel wells better in my opinion.
