Arrow Skyjacker

I was looking on the skyjacker website and there is a 3in lift. It replaces the coil with a longer one a guess. Is this really like a leveling kit. Since there is no drop crossmember will the axle angle be to servere. And if not will i be able to run 35's on aftermarket wheels? THANKS

The 3 inch Skyjacker kit is basially a longer coilover shock. Personally, I think 2.5 inches for a leveling kit is pushing it and 3 inches is just too much lift without dropdown brackets. Plus, I don't think the additional cost of the Skyjacker is worth another 1/2 inch of lift. I'd go with the 2.5 inch Autospring kit.

Thats what i was thinking. I know that most people said that the 2.5 is pushing it i was just making sure. If i do go with the 2.5 as spacer do you think i can get a 33x13.50 under there without rubbing? What size wheel should i get including backspaceing to fit the size tire?

Personally, I'd go with an 18x9 inch wheel with 5.5 to 6 inches of backspacing and a 325/60-18 (33x13.00) tire.

Looks good but if people with 2.5 leveling kit are having some premature suspension failure then i can only think what 3in will do!!!

There are several with 18x9's and 325/60's but I can't think of one with that backspacing.

I somehow missed this post originally...

I have almost 70,000 miles on a 3" SkyJacker lift. Did blow some front shocks which they promptly replaced. NO issues with any suspension parts.

Never liked the stock ride (felt washy to me), the SkyJacker has replacement shocks that feel much more controlled. It also increases wheel travel - with levelling kits, the shocks become the limiting factor.

No complaints here - and lots of miles of smiles!!!

Are people having these problems everyone talks about? I certainly haven't heard anyone having problems directly related to the 2.5" leveling kits. I even made a post a few days ago in the 04-07 forum and not one person said they have had a problem. I want to see these problems!!!

Oh and I had the 3" skyjacker. Waist of money, go with the 2.5" A.S. Plenty of pics in my gallery.

Not for that price, a couple more hundred dollars and you got the price of a 6in suspension lift.

I see our company website just got updated and doesn't have the photos up yet. I am picking it up with it's new wrap tonight, so I'll get some new and some old pics posted within a couple days. I was running 33x13.5x18 M/T FCII - about to go the the 6" SkyJacker and 37x13.5x18 FCIIs.
