If you have the AutoSpring type you need deep well sockets.

Other than normal tools, I had the need for a large socket (I think it was 30mm, although it was over a year ago) that I didn't have, so I went to the local AutoZone and rented one. Better to check this first and have it on hand.

It will be a lot easier if you have someone to help you out. Getting the 30mm bolt off can be a pain I have heard from some people. Just follow the instructions and every will go fine.

I can help!

I installed this kit. I would get a 2 or 3 leg puller to seperate the upper ball joint. This helps assure you don't tear the ball joint seals. It took about an hour to install the first spacer and only 23 minutes for the second.
Another tip. You MAY have to grind down the mounting studs on the strut. Mine bottomed out inside the spacer.

See my signature for how it turned out.

Good luck!

deep sockets! once you get one side done the other side will be a breeze. less then 2 hours for the entire project.

I think you have to tap the halfshaft slightly to get the jack to lift up the coilover while you push the UCA down to the spindle so you can get the nut started. The halfshaft tends to bind up a bit from what I've read on the spacer install.

Front wheel driveshaft on your 4X4. I'm just going on what I've read here on other people's install problems.
