You should use some WD40 or PB blaster on your torsion bars at the torsion key and control arm where the torsion bar goes in because it will make the job a lot easier if the torsion bar comes out. You can actually do the entire process with the bar in the control arm, but you must get the key off the bar which you'll need an unloading tool or gear puller for (be careful with this process because the torsion bars are under extreme pressure). Make sure to mark the torsion bar so it goes back in the same way it came out. Since you're doing it this weekend I would lube it down daily up to that point to break the rust free
Good deal I also have a Mechanic helping me. We are going to his shop(local tranny shop)this Sat. He said it should only take about 10 to 12 hours. I checked the boxes(because they were beat up) everything is in them GTG now just waiting till Sat.......
The boxes tend to get beat up when they're shipped to a residence because the boxes are handled individually by a carrier unlike shipped to a business where it's on a skid and only forklifts touch the skid itself and not the boxes. Good luck with it and most of all have fun and be patient
Will do and thanks again man your are AWESOME......I will be ordering some of the other stuff we talked about when I get some more money, I might be ordering that steering stablizer before summer if I go with bigger tires. But anyway thanks again...look for pics next week.
