Coil Binders

Have a friend with an 05 2wd F150..... He asked me about those Coil Binders you can pick up at any local Orileys, ADvance, AutoZone...ect..ect...

I have no idea if they would work or not so I wanted to run it past you guys... he's only looking to gain about an inch or so...

I personally dont see the point in doing it to only gain an 1"

Thanks in Advance

I assume he is talking about those spacers that wedge between the coils of your spring to gain a little lift or those clamps that clamp the coils together to get a small drop. Both are bad ideas and will eventially ruin the coilsprings.

That's kind of what I was thinking, I told him he's better off shopping around on ebay and buying some 2" or 2.5" Spacers and installing those. You can usually get those for about $100 and only take an hour or two to install them plus an alignment... but it's his call, his money, and I can only offer the advice.... we'll see what he does!

Thanks for confirming!
