Dumb Question - Lift after a Level

When you have leveled your truck with a 2" leveling kit, then decide to put a bigger lift on...like a 6" kit...do you have to remove the leveling spacers up front?

On body lifts no. But I believe most suspension lifts take into account that your truck comes stock with a nose dive and compensate for it. So you'll probably have to remove it for a suspension lift.

I had a 2.5" autospring spacer before I put my 6" lift on. I took it because I didn't need the extra lift with 33" tires. I may put a 1.5" or 2" spacer after I add bigger tires.

Some people have run leveling kits with full suspension lifts for a little extra height.

I'm getting a 6" lift put on my truck next month and I plan to leave my leveling kit on. I want to ensure that I can clear 35" tires with no rubbing issues. I have a 2WD though and it has a lower stance than a 4WD. I plan on going with a 5" block in the rear and an AAL to give me the lift in the rear so I don't end up with the pre-runner look.

I had the same question awhile back, and found out more than one have left their leveling kits in after lifting. And yes you may have to add in the rear.
