I hear people knock RC lifts quite a bit, but I have one that has had the ***** beat out of it and have had zero problems with it.
I put in on roughly two years ago. I did have some fitment issues with some parts, but over all it wasnt bad.
Its been ramped repeatedly off some rather large jumps, haulin **** down road full of big holes and washboards, hitting big stuff sticking out of the ground (stumps, chunks of solid ice etc.), and stuff like that. Stuff thats pretty stressfull on suspension parts.
No problems.

I had a RC lift on my 86 Ranger, 2WD. The radius arm brackets didnt fit worth a damn, I got shorted on bolts and other hardware, and the u bolts stripped on me in about 6 months (yes, they were properly torqued).
When it was up and running, I liked it. It seemed to flex real good for the stiff springs used in the TTB suspension, and rode decent for a lifted truck. In the 4WD applications, they used a drop bracket that could potentially knock a hole in your front differential, but I think that design has since been changed.
If you are going for performance, I would save up a little more and look at Skyjacker, their brackets are beefier and the kit is better made.
When it comes to lifting, you get what you pay for.
