Body or suspension lift

I just put on 33's on 17" rims on my 2001 F150 4X4 5.4L Lariat. I want a bit more lift. If I was to put a Fabtech 6" suspension lift would it look funny with 33's or should I stick with a PA 3" body lift. My truck has 7700gvw, if it makes a difference. Thank for all the help I can get.

Ya i think the 6in would be a bit too much. Id stick with the body lift. I just did a body lift on my friends '02 with 33's on 16x10 wheels and it looks badass.

IMO 6" with 33" would look unperportional, a 3 body lift with 33" would look alot better.

4" Lift

What about a 4" lift with 33's on 17's, would that look alright?

Yeah, a 4 inch lift would look fine with 33's. However, if you are gonna spend the money on a suspension lift, I'd go ahead and get a 6 inch lift. You always want to go larger. I've seen a lot of people lift their trucks only to wish they went larger in the future.

yeah i agree with wandell
especially since the 4" i recommend (Rancho) is about the same price as a 6" Fabtech or RCD

If you look at djh1121's gallery he has 33's with a 6in fabtech lift.

I think it looks pretty good.
