Lowering Shackle Question

I've got the ground force 2" drop shackles, but the directions are unclear on the U-bolt torque. Any input on what the actual factory spec. torque is would be much appreciated.

I had the same question when I installed my kit, but couldn't find an answer. In the end, I just torqued them down nice and tight and I haven't had any problems.....

just tighten them down as hard as you can with a 1/2" ratchet, or almost as hard as you can with a 18" 1/2 T bar (breaker bar)

then after 100 miles or so go back and double check tightness on everything including the shackle bolts.

And another tip, if you want maximum drop out of the shackle, lower the truck to the ground, then tighten the nut down all the way on the shackle. If you want minimum drop out of the shackle, have the axle hanging in the air when you tighten it down
