OK,
I have a 04 Lariat Screw 4x4. I just bought 35 1250 18 BFG muds. I am also adding a 2.5" leveling kit and an add-a-leaf. Here is the issue:
Several people on this site are running the same set up but are the tires rubbing?
My brother is almost positive they will rub with that set up. I trust his expertise because he is a mechanic by trade.
I ordered the tires and the salesman guy was telling me his computer says these tires won't fit because of the width of the Ford Factory 18" rim. (I'm keeping the stock rim.)
What is the final word on these tires rubbing?
Evan

That was my first set up. 2.5" autospring with 35" BFG MT's on stock FX4 rims. I have never had any rubbing issues with this setup and I had offroaded a lot with that setup. I do think there is a difference in stock heights for our trucks coming from the factory, some may have slightly stiffer springs and have a little more height to them and that may be the reason some people rub and others don't with this setup. Go for it, even if it rubs under extreme 4 wheeling big deal.
