lifting a 05 f150 2wd

I ahve a 05 f150 2wd and I want to put on 33". I was just wondering what size lift kit to get or should I go with a body kit? I don't want to go too high, just enough where there will be no rubbing.

Since its a 2wd i'm guessing a 3" PA body lift would be the best thing to fit the 33's, Others will chime in soon too......
BTW just noticed your from el paso. Awesome.

You don't need an entire lift kit or body lift to fit 33's. What you need is a 2" or 2.5" leveling kit on the front end. Autospring sells a good one for about $85-$95 and you can install it yourself. I have a 2005 2x4 also and just installed this about 2 months ago. Now I just need the tires. I think the biggest I can fit is a 295/70/17 on OEM rims, which is almost a 34" tire..... I think.

I believe a 295/70-17 is almost 34 inches tall.
