question

Hey all. I'm new to this forum and I have a couple questions. I have a 97 f-150 supercab 4x4

as you can see my truck is kind of short. I'm looking for a lift, but not a body lift so much. I am 16 so i'm not the richest person alive. i was thinking about an add a leaf in back but how would i get the front up too? any comments would be appreciated
thanks,
Jake

I agree. Body lifts are a great value if you can install it yourself. Also, you can lift the front an inch or so by cranking up the preload on the torsion bars. You will need an alignment afterwards.

ya i was considering a body lift, but i still have some questions. If i lift the body off the frame.. wouldn't my exhaust still stay in the same spot? would that not look weird?

here is my exhaust setup

one other question, your front bumper is connected to your frame if i'm correct.. I purchased a front grill guard and it connects to where the tow hooks were. wouldn't that make the grill guard 3 inches too short? how would i extend it?
sorry for all the questions
Thanks much,
Jake

Yes, your exhaust would stay in the same place, but any muffler shop could easily raise it 3 inches.
