Bilstien Boot Up or Down??

So, which is right? Boot up or down on Bilstien HD shocks. Shockwarehouse told me either way but the preferred method is boot up. I know I've seen this topic before, but found nothing when I searched.

What do you guys think? Boot up or down? Installation begins on Saturday. Hope it's a bit warmer then....

Thanks

They are monotube shocks so it doesn't matter.

Per Bilstein, it does matter. Install with the logo right side up, which on this set, puts the boot down. Oh well....

Thanks for replying. Learn something new every day....

you should be able to read bilstein with out having to stand on your hands. the fronts can only go in one way and unless they have changed the rears, the boots go on the bottom.
