4" lift w/stock 17" wheels and 33" tires?

Hey all,

Just got an '06 XLT 4x4 that came with the 17" wheels and 3.55 limited slip rearend.

I am thinking about getting the Rancho 4" lift, keeping the stock wheels and putting some 33" tires on it. Would this look ridiculous?

Is anyone running a similar setup?

Thx,

Allen

The 33's will look good check this guys gallery he has a 4" rancho with 35's on the factory wheels I think it looks good https://www.f150online.com/galleries....cfm?gnum=7825.

Hell I have a 6" with 33's and I think it looks great but I am saving for 35's so you could do the same if you want to go bigger.

I think it woud look good.... The only issue would be tire clearance..... At full lock you might rub?

BTW, if anyone in Michigan is looking for a brand new 6" lift with front and rear bilstien shocks for a few hundered dollars, email me at nmu98(at)chartermi.net I cannot ship it, it is way to large, and i dont have the boxes....

Same setup as Hash278 here... Saving for bigger tires also, but I don't think it looks bad at all.

You guys are right, looks pretty damn good. My concern is that with the 35's, i may have to swap out the 3.55s with 4.11s or something.

Thanks for the suggestions! This place gives me much food for thought.

Your right you would have to swap the 3.55's to at least 4.56's if you go with a 35, Im actually gonna do mine that way in about a month or two. Let us know what you decide.....

It wouldnt look bad at all with 33's. I love mine with 35's but am getting away with it because I have 3.73's and an xcal2 to help out. You would absolutely have to regear for 35's with 3.55's. I will eventually go with 4.56 but not too high on my list of priorities. Also there is ZERO rub with 35's on OEM rims with the Rancho 4" and no trimming necessary. Good luck.
