Dirt Logic Shocks or Performance Shocks?

Well I ordered my tires and wheels last night. So it's time to figure out which lift to get....it's either the fabtech 6" lift with performance shocks and oem coilovers or the fabtech 6" lift with dirt logics and oem coilovers.

The truck will be mainly pavement driven, and the most offroad it will see is the occasional dirt/gravel backroad and the yard. I will however be adding the fabtech steering stabilizers. So do you go dirt logic for the extra $300?

I am trying to make this same decision myself as well. I have a 2WD though and will definitely never be taking mine offroad, doing it strictly to improve the look of my truck. For me I will probably end up sticking with the basic lift so I can save the cash difference and get an XCal with Troyer tunes at the same time. I don't know too much about these things, but I don't think for trucks that will be used mainly onroad the need for the coilovers is that important.

Seeing all the trucks with new lifts makes me want mine so bad, but I have to save up a little more cash to get everything all at the same time.

Well I'm shopping on 4wheelonline and they have two lifts listed without using the coilovers. They are standard lifts that use the stock coils, but you can choose between shocks....performance or dirt logics.

Basically my truck will never be mudded nor will it need to be fully offroad capable. It will see some dirt backroads once in awhile, nothing serious. But I wonder how the dirt logics perform on the highway compared to the performance shocks. If the dirt logics provide better handling characteristics then I think they are worth the $300 more. But if they are mainly setup to give you better performance offroad and don't improve road handling then I don't need them.

check out performancelifts.com If your not going to be spending time off road, then dont spend the money on upgraded shocks.
