99 F-150

I just purchased a 99 4x4 and I want to put 33's on it. And I want to know what it will take to get it to where it will be no problem for the engine to pull... Thinking of 4.10s, and a flowmaster catback. Any suggestions?

if its a 4x4 you can fit 285/75-16s no problem i have them on my 2000. i also have 3.55 ls in front and rear and it has no problems at all. i also have a tuner, volant intake and true dual, with recently installed efans. but even before that stuff it was no problems with that size

Gears are your best bet. How much performance loss you feel with 33's will also depend on your engine and drivetrain. I have the 5.4, automatic and 3.55 gears and I really didn't notice a difference when I went from my OEM 30 inch tires to 33 inch BFG's.
