California Tilt

Does anybody know where I can get a 2inch Lift for the front of my 03 F-150 4x4. My truck has a leveling kit on it but I want the front just a little higher. I had a suspension shop tell me that fabtech used to make 2inch extended A arms and then You could turn the torsion bars up but they don't make the extended arms anymore and I always heard that you shouldn't mess with the torsion bars to much or your tires wear funny any help???

messing with the torsion bars is not a great idea.

There is nothing wrong with cranking up the preload on the torsion bars a little. However, you mentioned you had a leveling kit. The only leveling kits for your truck are reindexed torsion bar keys which allow you to put way, way more preload on the torsion bars than you can with the OEM adjustment keys. So, you probably already have too much preload on your torsion bars.

California tilt? Is that a pinball game?

If you are going to go up in the front don't forget to adjust the headlights. After I did my spacer I had to let the lights down some so I wouldn't blind anyone.

And for the record, the proper street term is a "cali lift" not a tilt
