Changed my shocks, a few questions

I went with these, Rancho RS5000.



Looks like the top one was leaking. What brand is Reflex? Not Monroe Reflex, just Reflex.


Finally, why are there no coils up front?

That would be those long bars that run on each side of the transmission? I don't know much about suspensions. Guess I'll have to read up in my Chilton manual.

EXACTLY what those are.(not sure an explaination is neccessary) but,
a torsion bar suspension works on the principle of those bars being under a twisting force at all times (torsion) to hold the front of the truck up.
sorry if my first post sounded sarcastic but I did not see the axle shafts in the photo till after I posted. If your truck were 2wd it would of had coil springs up front, but to make room for the axle shaft the coils had to be eleminated.
(thats why you have a torsion spring system.)
