How high?

I'm newer to the world of lifting trucks, and I am wondering how high you can lift the truck w/o having to modify axles or driveshafts or whatever else you would have to customize?

Basically, what is the max height that is "plug and play? I've heard that it's 6in.

I've got an 8" Rize suspension lift. Rize also makes a 10" lift.

Ok, but did you have to modify anything else? Or just put it on?

Sorry I posted this in the wrong forum. Whoever can move it if they want.

I think they had to cut the frame but you have to do that with the 6" kits too. With a 10" lift you would probably have to get your driveshaft extended but that's relatively cheap. You'd also want to consider regearing.

Ok cool. I noticed that Rize only seems to have lift kits for 03 or 04 and up. I'm planning on getting the 97-03 model. Is there anyone who makes an 8 or 10" suspension lift for that model?

Doesn't Fabtech make an 8" kit for the 97-03 F150's?
