Help Please is this a good deal?????

I've been looking at lifts, wheels and tires for my 2006 F150 Crewcab 4x4 shortbed. I called one of the local shops and he said he came across a year end sale on Pro Comp lifts and this is what the package consist of.

6" Pro Comp lift $1300.
Install $750
33 inch Nitto tires $859
Moto Metel wheels $796
and all little things
Total Cost $3900. on the road.

Does this sound like a good deal????

I was only going to go with a 4" but if this is a good deal maybe I'll go with it.
The truck is only off-road when going to dirt bike riding areas, I don't seriously off-road in it so it's more for looks.

Also will 33's look stupid with the 6" lift?

If 35's would look better will I need to re-gear the truck?

The shop does new trucks for the local Ford dealer and said these mods won't void my warranty so not sure about that either.

Thanks in advance for all the help.

I cant really advise on the deal thing because I wouldnt pay anyone to work on my truck...33's in my opinion would be a little on the small side with a 6" lift. As far as regearing what gears do you have? I have 3.73's with 35's and its alright...got an xcal2 and other mods though. You can always regear down the road....if you buy new tires (33's) and you dont like it would probably be a long while before you replace them (if you wait for them to wear) I would go 35's with 6". I mean I went 35's with 4". Good luck.

install sound expensive! lift sounds about right if thats with tax included... what size motos you going with and which ones? i think 33's will look fine if you were looking at 4" lifts then you will like 33's more then 35's. over all sound like a good deal the install is quit expensive though. should be more like $400 to 500.

Personally, I'd go with 35's with that lift.

Hey HB I think the install and tires sound expensive.I got the 7.5 fabtech 35inch terra grapplers and I had the rims from a previous lift and the shop only charged 500 for all the installation.Look around and take your time and dont be afraid to ask people that have the lift you want how much they paid.Good luck

I really can not speak of the lift price or installation cost but, I think you will be much happier with 35" tires. Good luck on your decision. BoB

Thanks for all the replies I think I'm going to pass on that deal for now. Plus I figured I would need 35's to make it look good and that would put the truck to high when it comes to loading the dirt bike, I'm old

I think I'll just look into the 4" lifts more and maybe even attempt the install myself when I decide on one. The rancho, super lift or rcd look pretty good to me.

seems like a good total price......33's are too small.
