f 150 - f250?

f 150 - f250?

a f 150 with a 5.4, f250 5.4. whats the major difference? just a few more leafs in the back and a solid axle up front right? any other major things or advantages? thanx for any input

you forgot horrible MPG!!!!!!!!!!!!! if you get an f250 you want a diesle.

Things like heavier brakes, frame, transmission, transfer case (if 4x4), and bigger rear (10.25). Not to mention styling.

mileage makes sense. it has to pull around that heavier frame etc...im just debating if i should buy a newer 150 or a 250.

Depends on what you want to use it for. A lot of heavy towing and loads, go for the 250. Light towing, go for the 150. If you are doing a lot of towing and expect to keep the truck a while, get the diesel.

well actually more plowing, in up here in mass so that solid fromt axle will probably work out better for me.

Definitely an f250 would be hold up a lot better for that. You can get a snow plow prep on the 150, but it requires the heavy payload package.
