2 1/2" AS only measures 2"?

Hey Guys, I got my 2 1/2" AS and the actual spacer only measures 2". When I put it on the truck, I got 2 1/2" of lift and now the front is 1/2" higher than the back. That doesn't make sense to me.

My spacer actually was 1 3/4" and it is a 2.5" lift. I think it has something to do with leverage or something.

Yep, the amount of lift at the coil is not equal to the amount of actual lift of the vehicle because of the design of the suspension. e.g. Autospring 2" is a 1 5/8" spacer and 2 1/2" is a 1 3/4" spacer.
