Shimmy in the back

Since I lifted my truck and added new tires and rims, I have a bad shimmy at about 65MPH. I swapped the tires and rims from the back to the front and it still shimmys in back. Could it be the U-joints on my driveshaft?

Nice truck! Looks awesome...Very Clean. I am not sure what would cause your rear shimmy issues. Did you disconnect the rear drive shaft? What was performed to the rear axle? Additional/replacement blocks? AAL springs? Just trying to isolate what might be causing the shimmy... BoB

Re:

Thanks for the comments guys. Well, I never disconnected the driveshaft. Just raised the rear end with blocks. There was at one point that I think the pumpkin and rear axle wihtout the tires on might have hung in mid air for a couple of minutes:o

Just bumping this to the top. So, it looks like it could be my driveshaft? Maybe the U-joints? Ive heard that it could be the angle of the driveshaft changing that causes the balance to be thrown off.

nice truck man, very clean setup I dont know why adding blocks would make that much difference in the driveshaft balance but maybe it does, When I put my fabtech lift on I put 4" blocks in the back and I havent had any vibration like your talking about. Hopefully somebody else will chime in here who has had this experience

I think what Im gonna try is buying a driveshaft from the junk yard along with new u-joints and go from there. A buddy of mine said that a driveshaft would be around $100.

Thanks for the props, your looks good as well!
