I've called 4 shops asking for quotes on a PA 3" lift. They have ranged from 600-850. 2 shops mentioned they would wait for the 06 kit one shop said they took care of the bracket themselves and one shop did not know there was a difference. Are these prices comprable to what others have paid. I know some of you have done it yourselves. But for those that have paid a shop any suggestions? The $600 shop was the one that said they take care of the bracket change which makes me a little concerned?

 

the brackets are to relocate the front/rear bumper which i beileve are including in your year kit the rear bumper bracket for mine wasnt included was still easy to make though its cost about $100 per inch to install abit high i think but i installed my own

 

Price is about 150.00 cheaper than what I paid, Pungo did mine. 2006 BL kit includes relocating both bumpers. I believe when the 4x4 shops are saying they would "take care" of the bumpers, they are refering to the Front Bumper relocation w/ the 2004-2005 PA BL kit. 2006 Front Bumpers require more washers to the frame. Check out PA site, they have the 2006 install instructions posted. Rear Bumper relocation requires some cutting of the bumper.

PUngo was the most expensve. Pro Truck in Chesapeake quoted the $600 using the 05 kit.
