The Rize hasnt been out long enough to be road and trail tested IMO.
If I had to do it again I would prolly go Rize or CST(Rize wasnt out when I lifted). Also You might have to get a longer drive shaft like Thump did

I've got the 6" Fabtech plus 2.5" level for total 8.5" lift. The only thing I trimmed was the lower front bumper valence and no rubbin after that. I haev 23,000 miles on the claws and still haev around half tread left.

FYI, I ordered a 6" Rize lift almost 3-weeks ago.I just called my retailer and was told that Rize shipped my kit yesterday and they are expecting to get it today or tommorrow.

I'm hoping that i'll have the lift installed by friday, they said it's gonna take around 1 1/2 days for the install.

haha well good for u marty. maybe its just the 6" thtas on back order or i was just given wrong info...

but heres another option,
rather than goin with the rise 8", u can get the fabtech and then put sway away shocks, ps the same as the camburg, exact same. sway aways are 420$ camburgs are 1100$, haha go figure, the name brand is twice as much... but the ride on those is friggin sweeeeet. ud be ready for the desert if u wanted. these also give u adj leveling from 0-3 " of hieght, thus u wouldnt need a spacer and u could get 9" of total hieght for less than the rize 8"
with these shocks and the longer travel, it will also help with the wear and tear on cv joints as well as the ball joints!!!!!!!!!

thats true but thats still no different then useing a spacer aside form the ride being nicer, but when you crank those coilovers up it makes the ride really stiff, and the same thing can be done with the dirtlogic coilovers from fabtech, i dont get how it would help with the wear and tear of the cv joints and ball joints, cause cranking those coilovers up is the same as putting a spacer on there.

on those coil overs, theyre valved to perform with how your driving more than how tight uve got the springs loaded. the dirt logics are no where near the performance of sway aways and twice as much money. theyll give u a better ride at 3 inches than any bilstein or other shock for this truck on or offroad. heres anothing nice thing about adj shocks, MPG goes down the higher your truck is because of aerodynamics. so if u know youre gonna on a long drive, u can losen them up and ive heard as much as a 2 mpg increase. i have a 30 gallon tank, that would mean 60 extra miles even if its only .5 mpg increase your still looking 15 extra miles!!

you can ask anyone that has put these shocks on and they will praise them in both performance and looks. im sure if everyone had the money theyd do these rather than a leveling kit

now for the wear and tear, the longer travel helps a lot because it cause less of an impact on all the joints with the extra travel.also creating the feeling of a smoother ride

I can never get enough info (or CHOICES) out of you guys!!!
This is great, I'm trying to get ahold of the only Rize Dealer in Md. I know from that rep in Ca. that they just drop shipped an 8" kit to some guy out on the coast so, barring any MAJOR obstacles from this dealer, I should be on my way to gettin lifted by New Years!!!
Can't wait!!!
