Lowering or leveling kit

Hi all

I am wanting to get my 06 f150 4.2 reg cab to set level, equal heights front and back.

Anyone know the differance between the height of the rear and the front?

I am wondering if I could just get the neccesary drop to the back end using leaf spring shackles to make up the differance in height between front and back.

If I were to do this only using leaf spring shackles on the rear end how much would it be to install? or could someone with little mechanical skill do it?

I am sorry if this is a repost, this is the 1st truck I have owned and never learned anything about raising or lowering a truck so I am not sure that what I want to do is even possible.

Does anyone who lowered the rear have problems hauling a small trailer = Less than 1000 pounds?

Single cab or super? I would assume single cab with the v6... as for the difference in height it varies by truck but it is several inches. Ground Force makes a shackle for like $50 that is very popular to level the truck out.

As for labor, probably 1-1.5 hours TOPS. It would be a super easy job. You could probably do it with a few buddies...
