AS Leveling Kit?'s

Well I am in the market to purchase an Auto spring leveling kit for a Christmas present to my father. I love the "6' lift I put on my truck this summer and he had mentioned he wanted to do a leveling kit also. Now everyone around here seems kinda fond of this kit. What are you paying for it? What kind of shop hours does it take to get it installed? Where can I find one at? I live in Alaska and I will have to get it shipped. What is the difference between the AS and the Daystar?

Thanks for your help guys, lets get another good looking truck on the road!

The Autospring is a one piece spacer that bolts on top of the complete coilover assembly. The Daystar is a two piece spacer. One part requires the spring be removed and a spacer reinstalled along with the coilspring while the remaining piece bolts on top of the entire coilover assembly. The Autospring design is just much easier to install. Both kits are around $100.

Here is the website:

www.autospringcorp.com

You can buy them on eBay, a lot of people love'em and a lot hate'em. It's a cheap mod to gain a couple of inches, IMO. As for as installing them it all depends, from what I've seen the price for installing a level kit is between $100-$300 it all depends. The autospring is very easy to install if you wanted to do it. Just be sure to get a front-end alignment.

I bought my AS leveling kit on E-Bay for about $100 shipped. It only takes about 2 hours to install and is a lot easier then any of the other kits (it installs on top of the strut, no need to compress the spring.)

P.S. I have my AS kit for sale in the classifieds for half that price!
