time for new shocks?

Messing around with my truck today I noticed a big hunk of my left rear shock was gone, jeeze.... my F150 isn't the rust king for nothing lol.

ok question is, should I replace all around? fronts appear to be fine but rear are nasty and rusty, what type of shocks? My truck is a 4x4 but I am not into the 4x4 scene, when i replace the shocks i'll remove the lift blocks in it. Heres a pic of the shock.

I'd replace all 4. Just about anything would be an upgrade.

I agree with Wandell, and that they were gone a long time ago.
