I've had it and done measurements, it lifted the front 5 inches and the rear 4 inches without the added height of tires.

so you mean to tell me that if i get the 4 inch Rancho sus lift for my '06 fx4 my truck is still not going to be level???

what he is saying is that your truck will sit the way it is supposed to. a little higher in the back is a tuff truck stance. if u are perfectly level then the moment u put something in the bed u will be saggin in the rear, not a good look.

X2 Your truck will look as it should. Mildly lifted with a slight rake. The rear will be slightly higher to compensate for loading. I don't know if the rake will be as extreme as stock. BoB

if that is true then why do so many people, including members of this forum, put 2-2.5" leveling kits in their trucks to eliminate the rake? i'd rather put a suspension lift in to enable me to run 35's without putting undue stress on the ball joints but i don't want to spend $2k and still have a rake. is there anything i can do so i don't have more than 1/2 inch rake with the 4" rancho lift?

because most people don't have the money so the get a cheap $100 leveling kit and squish in some 35's and say they have a lift. u gotta do what u gotta do but i would just rather have a lift myself. and like i said before the back up is a nicer look then a saggy rear.....this goes for other in things in life as well

thanks allrsdup. i guess i'll just post a question to see if anyone has the 4" rancho lift on an '06 FX4 to see what the actual rake is and see if i can live with it. .5 to 1" is probably ok but i really don't think i'd want more than that.
