rear end sqeaking

whenever im driving at low speeds or i go over a bump or speed bump there is a loud sqeak coming form the rear of the truck. i can jump up and down on the running boards or bumper and here it when its parked. any ideas, it looks to be either shocks or leafsprings but im not sure, any help would be appreciated.. thanks

I have the same problem. On the leaf spring there is a round disc that fits between them (near the end) when they wear out metal to metal. I went to ford no part to replace found one on a old truck by the road. Need one now myself. Try a spring shop???

man my truck was doing the same thing when i would back up at slow speed as well as when i would go forward. it turned out to be my u-joints in my drive shaft. replaced them and the squeak is gone.
