damn, the block is a 2" block, so my *** is sitting low! I think im calling fabtech tomarrow and trying to get a 4" block and going to sell or send back the 2" block, because with the 4" my truck will sit just how i want it!!! I should be posting some pics in an hour or two, if i can get them to come out at night!! if anyone has this kit can they actually measure there block, because the guy told me it was a 4" block but it damn well looks like a 2" block, and either way i need 2" more in the rear, so im trying to figure out the best route to go, thank you!!

Did you leave your 2.5 AS in with your 6" fabtech? We have a 4x4 and I did mine today and the angle of the front axels was increadable and the upper Balljoint was just about locked.... Had to take it back apart and remove the 2.5 AS to get them down to tollerable. I'm sure they will wear quicker anyway but hopefully not as bad as they would have if we left them in.

So you are not going to have a spacer I take it... Do you have any pics of what it looked like (angles)?

I didn't get any pictures of the angles but had four mechanics look at from our tire / alignment shop and they said they had never seen such a drastic angle and expected my axels / ball joints to last about 2 months at most. Between that and the 4"+ higher height we had in the front over the back of the truck - just made sense to pull them.

I took out the spacers last night - truck is back at the alignment shop now & getting some M/T 35x12/20 mounted up.

Seems every truck is different. We had Fabtech and everyone telling us that our 20" 951's with 6" of backspace would not work with the Lift installed but they do. We actually have about 1.5 inches of clearance to the knuckle left with no rubbing at all. This is a welcome thing as now my wheels don't stick way out and more importantly I don't have to buy new ones that work with the lift.

Steering stablizer goes in tonight - I'll get some pictures and post them sometime tomorrow of everything when done.

When does all this stop? I've had my Ford for about 3 months now and the UPS/Fedex guy have been here a dozen times each with parts, my checking account and master card are calling for a time out!!

One other thing we ran into while installing the Fabtech on our 05. The brake lines, especially the drivers side were way short. Had to get some custom ones made. Went with a stainless steel braided line for each side which added another $110. I've read where some people didn't need these but we certainly did.
