6" Fabtech

Ok im sure its been discussed but if someone could give me some "professional" lift advice. Ive ordered a 6" Fabtech and am putting on 18x9 wheels with 35x12.50's. I understand the rear will be lifted with blocks. The kit comes with premium shocks. I usually pull atv and mower trailers at times. Should i get rear springs instead of using blocks and if so which ones would be good to go with. Thanks for your time.

Mark

adding the blocks in the back will keep it a factory load carrying ability. if u have no problems stock doing these things then u wont with the blocks, on the other hand if u feel that u need an add a leaf as it is now then thats what u should do.

ok so there are many dif. ways to do this you could do an add leaf/ tow leaf. witch will help alot with supporting the extra load but the ride when your not towing anything will suck; you will feel every bump in the road! if you want to spend the extra money you could get air bags it would keep the stock smooth ride but when you tow something just flip a switch and the airbags blow up and stiffen yor suspension!!! i would go with airbags!!!

I agree with duffman. But it really all depends on what youre going to be using your truck for

thanks guys for your help. All the information helped me decide. I really dont do that much towing. I may tow a 14 foot trailer every once in a while with atv's on it but thats about the heaviest i go. I think ill be ok with the blocks. If for some reason in the future i need additional boost in the *** ill get an add a leaf. I think if it gets down to me every hauling a trialer alot, ill step up to a diesel.
