hey guys i am just wondering i have an 02' 2wd f150 right now it has the leveling kit and 265/70/17s, but it just isnt big enough. i am wondering if i can use the leveling kit with fabtech's 3.5" spindle lift, also the kit requires a wheel with no more than 4-5/8" backspacing, can i still use my 03' fx4 wheels(17") what is the backspacing and width on these wheels? and last but probably most importantly what do you guys think is the biggest tire i could run,

 

Yeah, you can run the leveling kit with the lift spindles. The OEM Ford wheels are 17x7.5 inches wide with 4 1/2 inches of backspacing so you should be fine. You should be able to easily run a 285/70-17 (33x11.50) or a 33x12.50-17 tire.

THey probably would if you use an 18x8 inch wheel with 4 1/2 inches of backspacing.

 

MXR181, did you use fabtechs lift with your stock fx4 tires. I love the look of these wheels, believe it or not, I have a silver supercab and wanted to put on fabtechs lift, but I heard of the backspacing and can't find info on them for these wheels. Also want 2" spacers.
