Leveling Kit and 4" Blocks in rear

I have a friend who found some lift blocks he is going to give me. I have an 04 New style Screw.. 2wd... I was thinking about using the blocks in the rear (4" blocks) and putting a leveling kit up front... the back end should sit 2"higher than the front.. similar to factory set up.. just a little higher all the way around?
Just curious to know if shims would be needed if I use the blocks? I'd like to lift it, but I dont want to go through a lot of trouble.. just looking for some tips or advice... pro's and cons.... thanks!

Are the blocks angled? That would help reduce vibration and stress from the u joints

no they are flat but the angle does not increase that much dont worry believe your drive shafts joints shouldnt let up down its the fronts on a 4x4 people have trouble with never the rear unless u bust it on a rock or something your ok

Not body lift, They are talking about the blocks mounted under your rear leaf spring bundle on top of rear axle. BoB
