Question

would it be wise to get a 3" body lift and a 2" suspension lift for a '99 extended cab?

i thought the smallest suspension lift you could get for 97-03 f150s 4x4s was a 4"
now i know they make lift spindles & coil spacers for the 2x4s in like 2-3"
but if hes talking about putting a 2" susp lift on a 99 4x4 do you think hes talking about aftermarket torsion keys?

yes definately better than the body lift?
where did you hear body lifts can warp the frame?
cause ive never heard that
anyways, RCD makes great lifts & the shocks (Bilsteins) that are included are some of the best there are.
im actually thinking about going with the RCD 5" lift this time around instead of the fabtech.
Which is another brand you should look at.

& heres a page that includes lift kits for you truck, but stay away from the Tough Country kits.

Nice! That made me laugh out loud!

I have not heard of warped frames, but I have heard of lots of problems with body mounts. Think about all the additional leverage that is put on those mounts when you stick a 3" spacer in there.

Yeah, I've heard of that also. It usually happens on rockcrawlers (usually Jeeps) were the frame is constantly being twisted.
