lift kits on ebay

I was just wondering what kind of experience any of yall have had or know about purchasing a lift kit off of ebay. I own a 2005 f150 4*4 and am still in high school so i don't have any extra cash just laying around. I have found a new Procomp lift kit on Ebay for 1100$ and am thinking about buying it. Any help would be much appreciated.Thanks.

Ebay is a good bet but might not always be the cheapest way to go. Make sure you check the feedback of the seller. anything less than a 90% positive feedback should be a concern. you can find good deals but sometimes not always the best deals. I was going to buy a lift kit off of ebay but did some googling and actually found a great website for truck parts with free shipping (www.4wheelcustoms.com)

Also, I myslef have bought and sold some high ticket dollar items on Ebay (bought my current 2000 F150 and sold my old 93 F150 and a 17ft camper trailer). There are a lot of scam artists on ebay. I would be cautious of buying anything out of the US (international), too good to be true priced items and I can't stress this enough: NEVER SEND A WESTERN UNION PAYMENT REGARDLESS OF HOW LEGIT IT MAY APPEAR TO BE. THIS IS A HUGE SCAM. Other than these areas of caution, Ebay could be a nice little $ saver if you have a good, credible seller.

Hope it works out for you and good luck
