so i bought an autospring kit a little while ago... now im reading about people having ball joint issues. im leasing this truck right now (and may buy it out at the end) so im not too sure if i should install the kit or not. is there something i can do to avoid having ball joint issues?

I've put the Autospring 2.5" kit on my 05 Lariat since last spring and have had no issues at all. I just put tires and rims on and while they were replacing the brake pads I had the tech take a look for abnormal wear, said it still looked like new. IMO, unless you're pretty good with a wrench, pay $150 and have it installed and aligned by a proffessional.

 

so i just need to be sure i get an alignment then?
