CORRECTION TO LAST POST-what to do with back after Daystar 2.5 in spacers in frount..

CORRECTION TO MY LAST POST. I HAD A MISS PRINT ON MY SIGNATURE SAYING THE TRUCK WAS A 04 BUT IT IS RELLY 03. SORRY BOUT THIS.. DO YA'LL ANSWERS STILL APPLY TO THE 03 AS THEY WOULD TO AN 04?

hey guys. i have planned on adding daystar 2.5in coil spacers to lift my 4x2 frount up soon. i got a buddy saying he can weld me some heavy duty extended shackles for the back. would an add-a-leaf or anything else be a better choice? he said he can do the shackles for about 45 bucks and the spacers will only cost me about 100. I am looking to keep this cheap.. around 200 bucks.. Any better suggestions?

add a leafs allow you to put more weight in the back less body roll and some people on this site say better braking i didnt see a diff though

normaly 2.5in spacer are used alone as a leveing kit now most add a leafs add 2.5in aswell cost $60-80 shackles are fine but add no improvment to ride quality

You need a shorter shackle to lift the rear of your truck. A longer shackle would lower it. I saw some 1.5 inch lift shackles on EBay for around $45, so a lift block would be about the same price.
