Leveling Kits...

can you tell a big difference with a levelin kit...i have a 2003 F150 FX4 also i have 33inch terra grapplers will those look good with a leveling kit...also whats a good brand to go with for the leveling kit...thanks for your help

theres no such thing as leveling kits for our trucks (97-03, 04 heritage)
we have torsion bars that you crank to lift the front, search torsion bars & you should find lots of information

and stay away from aftermarket torsion keys, theyll put your cv joints at too much of an angle & cause them to prematurely wear out

i called a place today and i got quoted a price for one installed for $450 for my truck

Then they just quoted you $450 worth of nothin. An open end wrench, tape measure and maybe thirty minutes and you can do it yourself.

It's amazing how many shops put these $400 "leveling kits" on the 97-03 models

I agree. Stay away from the aftermarket torsion bar keys. THere is a post here by a member that has them and they are already destroying his CV joints. All you need is an 18mm wrench to crank up your torsion bars and then just have the alignment checked.
