Blocks and Add-a-leaf???

I have a '06 2wd xlt and added a 2.5" AS kit to the front. I am going to be adding 35" tires with a 6" fabtech kit in the next month or so, but will be needing around 2-3" in the rear to make me level again and was wondering if i should do a 2" add-a-leaf or should get the factory 4x4 blocks and add those. My only qualm with the blocks is i would be adding a 4" block with the fabtech kit so i would be stacking blocks...how safe (smart) is this to do, any one have any bad experiences with this?? If it seems ok and doesnt change ride i will do this because its about 100$ cheaper, but if the leafs are the way to go, i have no problem spending the extra money to do it right. All opinions are helpful.
Also my truck is sitting dead level now, so since i am adding 6 in front and want a level or slight rake look i will need to be adding 2-3 inches, but are the blocks and add-a-leafs true to the height you install or no???

i just dont see how 2 blocks on top of each other can be safe, but that is IMO. i would go with the add a leaf since you are dead level now and when you tow your boat, it might sag a lil in the rear. the add a leaf will shore up the factory springs to not sag as much. but like i said that is IMO!!

thank you, i like how we answer each others questions! That is the same thing i was thinking though, doesnt exactly sound safe, but i have heard 2 is ok, some ppl have done 3, that just sounds ridiculous, so im trying to hear ppl out. Thank you for your thought!

dont stack blocks now if you desire you can use the combo add a leaf and the blocks sence your level now now if just just blocks it will sag a little in the back plus add a leaf increase payload and decrease body roll and even some people say improve braking

thank you duffman, i did not know about decreasing body roll, and increasing braking, i did think it was not smart to stack the two, but that was new insight to me. All the more reason to do the leaf over the blocks. I am curious if anyone knows of a brand that sells a leave between 2-3" such as a 2.5 or 3". I am looking to add about 2-3 inches in the rear of the truck, please let me know, thank you!

pro comp and superlift are the most comon but there hundreds of companys that make add a leafs or you can buy higher arch springs and do it that way cost a lot more but the point is you have a lot of options

check out summitracing they will give you a idea on brands and cost

If your dead level, I'd only do a 1.5" add-a-leaf. 3" and you'll be sitting STINK BUG!

thump, i am adding the leaf along with a 6" fabtech lift, which has a 4" block in the back, i am saying i am level now, but with the lift, my front will be 2" higher, so i was thinking a 2-3" block would then make my back level or a lil high, is this right???

Don't stack the blocks due to safety issues, just add the leaf and the truck should look awesome.
