That looks amazing! Thanks for the before and after pictures, it just shows what a major difference it is.

If you don't mind me asking what was the total cost (lift, tyres, wheels) for this project?

No problem with letting you know how much I spent. Just send me an IM or e-mail: g_cmata@hotmail.com. I am still not yet familiar with all of the sponsors on the forum and I don't want to step on anybody's toes...

I was real close to incorporating the leveling kit. What closed the deal was that my wife gave me the go-ahead to spend the money.

She did not have to say it twice - nor did I hesistate not one minute...!

The Pro Comp lift appears to have increased the stance by a little bit, but I haven't yet determined this and if so, by how much.

No, I did not use the AAL, but used 2.5" spacer blocks. I will be towing a few toys and possibly some vehicles, so I did not want the rear to sag.

Why would someone lift a 2wd truck? It's an honest question, not criticism. It's not off-roadable to a point where the lift and tires are necessary and it doesn't allow you to go many places the stock setup did. Your truck looks great by the way!

Honest question deserves and honest answer.

Reason was simply because I got bored with the OEM wheels. Bought the truck new last year and knew that I was going to replace the wheels sometime in the future.

The suspension parts just so happened to be part of the overall package.

I've had 4WD trucks in the past and believe it or not, it actually fits inside my garage.

I appreciate your honesty. Being in the climate you are, it's very understandable. Your truck looks great and with that setup I would be hard pressed to tell it was 2wd. I guess it's hard for me to understand the purpose of a 2wd truck, but in the midwest 4wd is often a necessity to and from work. Once again, great looking truck!

Anyone ever heard of a prerunner style truck? They are VERY capable off-road vehicles, and a good majority of them are TWO WHEEL DRIVE.

That aside, let's be honest here, how many people with lifted trucks ever actually NEED the 4wd? And how often?

Exactly....

People do it for looks, and I see nothing wrong with it. Makes the truck looks bad ***, and more fun to drive sitting up high.
