Bigplayer-I plan on doing your same setup(6"susp+3"BL). I already have body lift. How do you like the setup. What else have you done to the truck to make it "work". i.e. stronger brakes, gears, steering. Or did you just throw the lifts and bigger tires on and drive in stock.

as of right now all i have done is upgraded my rotors with slotted and crossed drilled. in a month or so i will be changing out my gears to 4.88s. to fit 38s with a 6 and 3 you need to a do a little trimming on the lower valence, the fender flare, and the fender wall. otherwise everything works

Im running the same setup as bigplayer, with 4.56 gears. The truck pulls good and will still peg out the speedo.worked good for me

i went and checked on the egde evo the other day. it doesnt correct the speedomoter it just shows the correct speed on the programer. it will also only program up 35s with 4.56s i think. im yet to find a programer that will tune 38s with 4.88s

I've got a hypertech.Had to do a little playing but I finally got it.Set the gear ratio at 4.10 even though I have 4.56,and the tire size at 34 even though i've got 38's.turned out to be 2mph fast.

Thats weird. My Edge (04-07) models corrects speedo on the dash and goes up to or past a 38" tire. Pretty sure it will go to a 4.88 gear to but havent looked so dont hold me to it. Wonder why the 97-03 Edge's dont do the same?
