Which Lift

I own a 2005 f150 4*4 regular cab. I was just wondering what your guys opinion is on which LIFT I should go with. Price really isn't an issue. Should i go with Fabtech,Procomp, or Rize. I want to do as little cutting to my body as possible.

I'd go with the Fabtech, Rize or RCD lift. They are all quality products. Personally, I think I would go with the Rize lift because it doesn't increase your front track width and it looks more like a work of modern art than a suspension lift.

i agree. also it depends on how high you want to go. fabtech, procomp, and rize all have 6" kits, but rize has 8" and a 10". i think its 10 im not sure.

If price is no issue go with the Rize and some King coilovers up front.

Hey all, first post.

I have a roughly 800 dollar suspension busget. Skyjacker has a 3.5 lift. Will this allow me 35in. tires? If so, would I run into any driveshaft problems or extra little things that would run up the price, except shocks?

This truck will see no off roading, except the occasional mud (that' what a Bronco is for).

I wouldn't go with the 3" Skyjacker, it puts way too much stress on the cv angles, tie rods, and ball joints.

If you want to keep the stock wheels, get a 2" or 2-1/2" Autospring spacer and a set of 35" BFG M/Ts. I think its the best looking set-up using the stock wheels.

Thanks for all the Help.

I was thinking 18' M/T classic II on either Mud Grapplers or Claws. I'm pretty sure the Claws come in 13.5 inches wide. Would that combo cause any problems if I went with the wide tires?

If your going to get aftermarket wheels, stick with 33s.

If you really want 35s, stick with the stock wheels and a 12.50"

Thanks for the help. Great forum.

I would be open to stock rims.

Sounds like I could do this for about $1,500 with the Mud Grapplers. Kepping the stock rims would save a bunch of money.

Hmmm...Performance pugrades?
