1.5 inch Auto Spring installed Today

I had my 1.5 AS installed today and I got a full 2 inches out of it. It looks good but I am glad I did not go with the 2 or 2.5.
Now I am waiting on the rear blocks to give me a 2 inch overall lift and still have some of the factory rake. As far as the install after hearing about all the special socket sizes I just took it to a friends shop and paid them for 1 hr. labor.

First you have to create an album in photo galleries, It's free and easy to do. Then when you post a message, open the photo you want and click the forum codes button in the right hand corner and copy and paste the img url into your post. I am looking to install the 2" AS on my truck as well.

Come On Gman SC, I need pics of that kit. I mean detailed. UCA and balljoint, over all pics, and just how tall is the spacer itself? Really thinking about doing this spacer and dying to know what it has done for your ride.

Depends is you have a 4x4 or 4x2. With a 4x4 and a leveling kit up front you can go with 35X12.5 on stock wheels. If you have a 4x2, you cannot get the 35" tires on with just a leveling kit. I have a 4x2 and have a 2.5 leveling kit and 2" blocks in back and still need a little more lift (ie body lift or suspension) to get my new bf goodrich mud t/a on my truck. You have a 4x4 so yes you can do it with this. The skyjacker lift you are looking at isnt the best choice, doesnt have great reviews. I know the height is nice, but thats all up to you, not a bad choice, you could do rancho 4". Or a BL is good if you get it installed right and costs about $750 or $800 installed. All up to your preference. Good luck!

yes you can find it on the internet or ebay, tougher to find though,

also for everyone else who is commenting on rubbing and wear with the larger kits, i installed a 2.5" last night on my truck, and after alignment there is no rubbing at all, actually i can fit about 3 fingers inbetween the arm, and the coil, there is about 90% space there was from factory, it fits perfectly, i was all scared after reading all the posts, but after seeing this, i would do it 100x over again. It was an easy install, great result, cheap, and no wear on any parts! Anyone thinking about it should dive in for the 80 or 90 bucks and do it, its definatly worth every penny!
