1.5 -2 inch lift

Im wanting to do a lift on my 97 F-150. I have done some searches and some people crank the torsion bars up and either add a block to the rear or an add a leaf. If I crank the torsion bars will I be able to get a full 2 inches? If so what do you guys recomend for the rear?

Each truck is a little diff but I would say your would get close to 2" and it will level out your truck.

RIght. They all seem to be adjusted a little differently from the factory. Most people can get 1.5 to 2 inches of lift out of the torsion bars. If you want to lift the rear any, just use a lift block or add-a-leaf.

I don't believe longer u-bolts are needed for an add-a-leaf.
